Umsatz und Marktanteile gesteigert –
auch international erfolgreich
(Willich, Germany, 5th of March, 2008) Coinciding with the start of the New Year, Pro2 Anlagentechnik GmbH is reporting the highest number of orders received since the company’s inception and has an exceptionally positive outlook for the 2008 financial year. After achieving turnover of ¤33 million in 2006, the company generated almost ¤40 million in turnover in 2007. Pro2 was able to increase both the overall turnover and its share of the biogas market. International business is gaining increasing importance. The export quota rose significantly; initial orders have been placed for biogas and landfill gas projects in Asia.
For 2008, the company aims to achieve continuous organic growth through an intensification of domestic and international business activities. However, in addition to this, acquisitions are also on the agenda. The majority takeover of G.A.S. Anlagen, a competitor from Krefeld, in February of 2008 marks the first success in this arena. This translates into an increase in production capacity of around 30 per cent.
Pro2 is headquartered in Willich, near Düsseldorf Germany and has 120 employees in Germany and its branches in France, England, Spain, Hungary and Belgium. In 2008, additional landfill and biogas plants will be completed in Asia and Latin America. Pro2 technologies are becoming increasingly popular on the export market. In Germany, Pro2 focuses on service in particular. Additional investments in this area have enabled the company to significantly enhance its scope of performance.
